Network 4 Youth & Children in Media and Advocacy Participation Sierra Leone (NYOCAMP-SL) is an independent, young people-led, non-political non-profit, and a community based organization operating in Sierra Leone (Kenema and its surrounding villages, Kambia and its surroundings and the Western area. The rationale for its formation was borne out of the passion and vision – to help create a safe, fun, educative and supportive environment for vulnerable Sierra Leonean children, youth and women. This was pioneered by a team of well-meaning Sierra Leonean young men and women with vast experience and knowledge in social and community development and human rights issue. We have a particular focus on the areas of Media, Health, Education, Youth women and Children issues, Human Rights, Research and Advocacy and Economic Development. Its driving principles are geared towards reviewing the past, confronting the present and re-positioning for the future of children, youth and women (girls) in Sierra Leone. (NYOCAMP-SL) remains very committed to empowering, educating and improving the wellbeing of children, youth and women (Girls). As such the needs of our beneficiaries/ right bearers always come first. The programs are set up according to the needs of the communities, children, youth, and women regardless of political affiliation, religion, tribe or sex/Gender.
